Love movies and books? St. George’s Harrow has fun events all summer long! We’re working with Harrow Libraries and Vue Cinema to bring you exciting activities. These events are all free and open to everyone during the summer school holidays.

Be a Secret Agent! (Thursday, July 25th)

Location: Outside Vue Cinema on Level 1

To celebrate the release of Despicable Me 4 at Vue Cinema, Harrow on the 12th of July, we’re having a secret agent training day on July 25th. Learn how to hide, act like a movie spy, and even (pretend to) parachute! Spaces are limited, so sign up early.

Write Your Own Movie! (Thursday, August 15th)

Location: Outside Vue Cinema on Level 1

Our favourite movies start their life as a written story – whether that’s a book, or the all-important script! Join us on August 15th to learn how to write a movie script. We’ll teach you the basics, like how to create characters and tell a story. By the end, you’ll have your own short script to share with friends and family!

Join the Summer Reading Challenge (July-August)!

This year, the challenge is all about Aardman Animations, the creators of Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep! Harrow Libraries is hosting a special Aardman Animations Model Making Workshop for children aged 6-11 at Greenhill Library as part of the challenge. Learn about animation, borrow books from Harrow Libraries, and complete Summer Reading Challenge activities to win prizes.

Here at St George’s, we are bringing local excitement into the centre with a return visit to the Honesty Library. 

• Visit our special book-borrowing station at St. George’s! It’s like a library, but you can borrow books and return them without anyone watching.
• To add to the excitement, Vue is giving you the chance to win some free cinema tickets! Simply snap a photo by the Honesty Library, tag St. George’s and Harrow Libraries/Greenhill Library on social media, and you could be a lucky winner.
